We value your privacy. All Format processes files directly in your browser whenever possible, ensuring your data never leaves your device.

Data Retention

We do not retain or share your uploaded files. Temporary data is automatically purged once processing is complete. Email information (if provided) is stored only locally in your browser.

Uploaded files (server-side flows): deleted immediately after conversion.
Local-only tools: files never leave your device.
Support emails/forms: retained only as long as necessary to respond.

Your Choices

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. This will reset cookie consent and sign-in data.

How We Process Your Files

AllFormat uses two processing methods depending on the tool. Each tool page clearly displays which method is used.

🖥️ Client-Side (Browser) Processing

Your files are processed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. Files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server. This applies to most image tools, spreadsheet converters, QR code generator, text tools, URL tools, ZIP/Unzip, Markdown tools, and PDF Merge/Split.

☁️ Server-Side Processing

Some conversions require server-side engines (e.g., LibreOffice for Word↔PDF, Ghostscript for PDF compression). For these tools, your file is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), processed on our secure server, and deleted immediately after conversion. We never read, store, or share your file contents. This applies to Word↔PDF, PDF Compressor, Word Compressor, HTML→PDF, and PDF→HTML.
